MCM Archive files

This archive contains ASCII files of the MCM code in various formats. Files have been prepared for UNIX and PC users, and stored in compressed form.

Select from below according to your hardware type.

PC:	mcm.zip
UNIX:	mcm.tar.gz	mcm.tar.Z

Once uncompressed, the archive contains three files.

MCMchm.ecm contains ONLY the complete MCM chemistry code.
The MCMbox.fac and MCMptm.fac files are facsimile coded models which contain the MCM.

MCMbox.fac is a box model while MCMptm.fac is a full photochemical trajectory model and details of the models are included with the code.

Changes to this Archive February 1997

A couple of minor errors have been detected in the facsimile coded models MCMbox.fac and MCMptm.fac. Hence, the archive files have now been updated.
Further, users may experience some difficulties in trying to run these codes depending on the version of facsimile they are using.
The output files generated at present contain diagnostics and complete variable listings, and are very large. Hence, users are advised to tailor these models with respect to the output that they require, and also to consider the overall time scale and time steps for the integrations which are currently set.
